Your Tour Itinerary
Monday: After collecting you from your home address we enjoy a comfortable journey across the border into Wales and to our hotel. This evening we can look forward to a complimentary glass of wine
with dinner which will be followed by entertainment.
Tuesday: After breakfast we make our way to Caernarfon to visit the mighty castle, which is possibly the most famous of Wales’ castles, where its sheer scale and commanding presence easily set it apart from the rest. After our visit here we cross the Menai Bridge onto the Isle of Anglesey to visit the last and largest of the castles in Wales to be built by King Edward I, Beaumaris Castle.
Wednesday: Today we visit The National Slate Museum which offers a wonderful insight into the history of slate quarrying in North Wales. Our trip will include an introductory film, a chance to see the Industrial Workshops, and a chance to marvel at one of the largest waterwheels in the world.
Thursday: Today we head south to visit Harlech Castle which is a combination of magnificent medieval architecture and a breathtaking location. From here we can enjoy the scenery of the Snowdonia National Park as we make our way to the pretty village of Betws-y-Coed before returning to the hotel. For our final evening in the hotel we can look forward to a 5 course Gala Dinner followed by entertainment with a Welsh choir.
Friday: After breakfast we check-out of the hotel and make our way back home. |
