Killarney is one of Ireland’s most popular tourist spots set amid the most stunning scenery. We sample the Irish hospitality; take a joint jaunting car ride and boat trip on Lough Leane as well as having an opportunity to kiss the Blarney Stone.

Sunday: We have an early start this morning, collecting you from your home address. We make our way to Pembroke on the Welsh coast, boarding the ferry to Rosslare and on to our first night stay at the Maldron Hotel, Wexford.

Monday: We depart Wexford for Killarney travelling via Waterford for a short visit, then on to Blarney Castle home of the famous Blarney Stone, said to give you the gift of eloquence if you kiss it. We have free time here to discover its beautiful parkland and gardens before continuing to Killarney and our hotel for the next three nights.

Tuesday: This morning we take a trip in a traditional jaunting car through Killarney National Park, followed by a scenic lake cruise on Lough Leane to Ross Castle. This is a wonderful way to view the surrounding mountains. Our coach will meet us here to transport us back to Killarney, with time to explore before dinner.

Wednesday: Today we set out on the highlight of our holiday, a tour around the famous Ring of Kerry. This is one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland, we see rugged islands, white sand beaches, charming villages and dramatic mountain passes as we drive this picturesque loop on the Iveragh Peninsula in the heart of County Kerry.

Thursday: We return to Wexford today via Cork, which sits on an island in the middle of the River Lee. Cork is pleasantly compact and friendly. A collection of cool coffee shops, vibrant art galleries, unusual museums and seriously good pubs, make for a delightful visit. After exploring here we make our way to the Maldron Hotel in Wexford for our final night’s stay in Ireland.

Friday: An early start to the day takes us onto the ferry where breakfast is served and back into Wales for our return trip home to East Anglia.
