This Christmas break takes us across the Solent onto the Isle of Wight where we have a fun filled Christmas programme including entertainment every night.
Wednesday: After collecting you from your home address we head south to our hotel on the Isle of Wight, where tea/coffee will be served whilst your cases are delivered to your rooms. There will be time to settle in and relax before dinner is served. Entertainment tonight is Party Night with a DJ.
Thursday: This morning we take a scenic drive around the coast, including a visit to Alum Bay from where we see the famous Needles and Trinity Lighthouse. We return to the hotel in time for the Carol Singers visit. After dinner we can enjoy some Christmas music with a singer.
Friday: (Christmas Day): Merry Christmas! Time to relax and keep an eye out for Santa who will be visiting! Traditional Christmas Lunch is served after which you might like a breath of fresh air on the prom. Later we enjoy High Tea which will be followed by a friendly quiz.
Saturday: This morning you can choose to stay in the hotel and enjoy the facilities or you can join the coach as we visit Newport for some retail therapy and hopefully bag a bargain in the sales. Our final evening meal is a festive buffet followed by live musical entertainment.
Sunday: After a lovely festive break we must make our way back home.
The Royal Esplanade Hotel is located in a superb seaside location close to the promenade in the heart of the pretty resort of Ryde. The hotel restaurant overlooks the promenade with separate bar and lounge areas, it also has a lift but there are steps into the hotel and to access some rooms.
We have reduced our seating capacity on board our coaches. This could mean the seat numbers on your booking confirmation might change. Families/groups will be seated together, with spacing between groups to allow social distancing. Please ensure that you remain in your allocated seats for the duration of your holiday, you will not be permitted to occupy empty seats. If you’re travelling alone, you are guaranteed to be seated at the window with an empty seat to the side of you. The front row seats behind the driver will not be occupied for the duration of your holiday. However, the front seats on the entrance door side of the coach will be used.
A full list of the measures we are taking to safeguard you whilst on holiday will be sent to you upon booking or can be requested in advance by emailing email@example.com or calling our office on 01379 647300.
