Call the Midwife Locations Guided Tour & Lunch

27 August - 27 August 2020 / 1 Days from £68.00

Arrive at Chatham Historic Dockyard for a tour of a lifetime. Call the Midwife regularly captures the hearts of over 10 million viewers who tune in to watch the much-loved programme.

However, little do those viewers know that the historic Dockyard Chatham has been the backdrop for many of the shows’ most iconic scenes.

We are very excited to be offering this tour which has been re-worked by the shows’ producers. The tour features material from the latest series, as well as props, costumes, set and of course a costumed Midwife to lead your tour.

Get a sneak peak behind the scenes as you hear fascinating anecdotes about the filming of the show. Designed to represent the impoverished East End of London in the 1950’s and 60’s, the dockyards also have a fascinating history of their own. Walk along streets that were used to represent the slums of Poplar Dock, and walk in the footsteps of some of Miranda Hart and Jenny Agutter’s most memorable scenes.

Following your tour, enjoy a 2 course lunch
