Simonds are looking for an experienced PCV/ HGV Vehicle Technician. The successful candidate will carry out routine vehicle inspections and be involved in all areas of maintenance to our own fleet of buses, coaches and mini-buses as well as carrying out inspections, repairs and services to a growing customer base.

The successful candidate will work on a 4 days on 4 days off basis (this includes weekends and bank holidays except Christmas). Shifts will normally be between 7 and 12 hours with a 1 hour unpaid break, shifts starting as early as 05.00 and late shifts finishing as late as 22.00 determined by the operational needs of the business. You are expected to be available to work throughout 7 days of the week.

We are looking for a friendly, outgoing and motivated individual to work as a Vehicle Valeter at our depot in Diss.
Duites to include:
Cleaning both interiors and exteriors of our fleet of coaches, buses and other company vehicles.

Hours of work:
Shifts of 8.5 hours with a half hour unpaid break on a rolling 2 week pattern.
Week 1 - 05:30 to 14:00 Monday to Friday.
Week 2 - 14:00 to 22:30 Tuesday to Friday with the remaining 8 hours to be worked over Saturday/Sunday as dictated by the needs of the business.
