Services 1 & 1A operate Monday to Saturday between Diss & Norwich via Burston, Gissing, Aslacton, Forncett & Tharston into Long Stratton before operating via Flordon (some journeys), Hall Road & City College. Services are timed to provide school & college time links to Norwich, as well as daytime travel links to both Diss & Norwich. Route 14 operates Monday to Saturday, linking Ipswich Town Centre & Rail Station to Chantry & Gippeswyk Park, with onward connections being available in Ipswich onto our services 74 and 74A towards Eye. Buses on route 14 operate off-peak, at an hourly frequency. This service is operated on behalf of Ipswich Borough Council.

Route 70 operates on Mondays to Saturdays, providing fast and direct links between Diss and Bury St Edmunds via Botesdale, Stanton, Ixworth, and Great Barton. Buses run hourly all day. At school times, buses serve SET Ixworth School, Thurston Community Collect, West Suffolk College, and St Benedict's Catholic School - these buses are numbered 70A. These will arrive and depart from Stand 7 at Bury St Edmunds Bus Station.

Route 72 operates on Fridays only (except Good Friday), linking Gislingham to Eye and Diss. It operates one journey in each direction per day.

Route 73 operates on Mondays to Fridays, connecting Garboldisham, Stanton, and Bury St Edmunds via a wide range of intermediate villages. This service is operated with financial support from Suffolk County Council.

From September 2025, there is a minor timetable change to route 73A. The morning bus will operate to a revised timetable, leaving earlier from Diss, in order to ensure an on time arrival into Thurston Community College.

74 / 75


Routes 74 & 74A operate Monday to Saturday, linking Eye to Ipswich via either Debenham & Stonham Aspal (74) or Mendlesham (74A). Services operate at a combined two-hourly frequency through the day, with additional journeys operating in the morning & afternoon peaks. School & college time journeys extend to One Sixth Form College and Ipswich Rail Station, as well as serving Claydon High School & Debenham High School students. These services are supported by Suffolk County Council.

Routes 75 & 75A operate Monday to Saturday, linking Diss to Eye, either directly (75) or via Palgrave, Wortham & Mellis (75A). Services operate at a combined two-hourly frequency through the day, with some additional journeys in the morning and evening. These services are supported by Suffolk County Council.

81


Route 81 operates on Mondays to Saturdays, linking Diss, Scole and Harleston, with extensions to Bungay and Beccles. This route now offers an hourly service between Diss and Harleston and serves the new housing developments on Menham Lane in Harleston. This service is operated with financial support from Norfolk County Council.

Routes 81 and 82 provide a combined half-hourly frequency between Diss Bus Station, Diss Railway Station, and Scole on weekday daytimes.

82 & PR2


Route 82 operates hourly on Mondays to Saturdays, linking Roydon, Diss, Scole, Dickleburgh and Long Stratton with Norwich, stopping at Harford Tesco, Norwich City College and Norwich Bus Station. On weekdays at peak times buses continue beyond Norwich Bus Station to Castle Meadow and Prince of Wales Road.


Evening buses run on this route six days a week with financial support from Norfolk County Council and HM Government's Bus Service Improvement Plan. On Sundays, one bus a day in each direction operates between Diss and Norwich.


Route 82 is part of the Norwich Park and Ride network. Combined with PR2, a bus every 15 minutes is available between Harford P&R and Norwich City Centre.

Routes 83 and 84 operate on Mondays to Fridays, providing local links into Diss from. Pulham Market, Pulham St Mary, Roydon, and Bressingham. These services are operated with financial support from Norfolk County Council.

Routes 110, 112, 113 and 114 operate on Mondays to Saturdays, linking Diss and Eye with Ipswich via a wide range of intermediate villages. These services are operated with financial support from Suffolk County Council.

School Bus Route 371


School bus route 371 connects Larling, East Harling, Kenninghall, Banham, and Winfarthing with Diss High School. This service operates on school days only but is open to the general public and is not restricted to school students. To travel on this service, either purchase a Network Day ticket on board the bus or use Network Week, Month or Three Month tickets (available via the myTrip app).


PR3


PR3 serves Postwick Park & Ride where buses run every 20 minutes on weekdays and Saturdays.

Buses operate non-stop along Yarmouth Road, and then stop at Norwich Railway Station, Castle Meadow and Norwich Bus Station.

Route 482 operates Monday to Saturday, linking Diss to Framlingham, via Eye & Stradbroke. There are four full journeys each way per day, with additional journeys in the morning & evening providing connections at Framlingham to Ipswich Buses 118/119 to Suffolk Rural College & Ipswich. This service is supported by Suffolk County Council.
