Day by day
- Day 1
Friday
We depart from our local pick-up points and make our way to Dover for the ferry crossing to Calais. From Calais, we continue our journey to Paris, where we’ll check in to our hotel and settle in ahead of our exciting weekend in the French capital.

Saturday
Today is yours to enjoy at leisure, with plenty of time for independent sightseeing and discovering the many highlights of Paris. Explore the city’s wonderful monuments, museums and art galleries, browse the elegant boutiques, or simply soak up the atmosphere as you wander along its famous streets and boulevards. With so much to see and do, you can spend the day discovering Paris at your own pace.

Sunday
Today we enjoy a guided tour of the Palace of Versailles considered to be one of the most magnificent achievements of 18th century French architecture and design. The awe-inspiring Hall of Mirrors and astonishingly beautiful palatial grounds are highlights of France’s most famous château. In the afternoon, we enjoy free time in the beautiful town of Versailles itself before returning to our hotel.

Monday
After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and begin our journey back to Calais. We’ll then board the ferry for the crossing back to Dover before continuing our journey home to East Anglia, bringing our Paris and Versailles adventure to a close.
