Monday: From local pick-up points we travel to Lancashire with ample comfort stops en-route to our hotel, where we are welcomed with a cup of tea/coffee on arrival.

Tuesday: Today we enjoy a classic rail journey on the Settle to Carlisle Railway, which is considered the most scenic rail journey in England as it winds through moorland scenery and over the famous Ribblehead Viaduct before continuing to the lovely market town of Hawes. As we travel back through the picturesque Yorkshire Dales National Park, we take a moment for a photo opportunity of the Ribblehead Viaduct which we crossed this morning on the train.

Wednesday: Today we travel to Yorkshire where we visit Skipton for its ever-popular Wednesday market. Stall holders and shoppers barter with each other along the high street close to the town’s impressive Medieval Castle. Join in the fun, pick up a bargain and explore this lovely market town, before taking to the water on a relaxing cruise along the historic Leeds-Liverpool Canal.

Thursday: This morning we take a trip to the coast to see the famous Blackpool Tower, before heading to Lytham St Anne’s for time at leisure.

Friday: After breakfast it’s time to depart our hotel, en-route we call at Holmfirth, the location of the TV classic series “Last of the Summer Wine”. After free time here to explore, we leave Yorkshire and head for home.
