Capture the spirit of the festive season on a “Turkey & Tinsel” break, bring together the magic of Christmas and celebrate New Year, add in excursions and lots of festive fun, this break makes the ideal warm-up to Christmas.
Monday: Collecting you from our local departure points this morning we make our way to Eastbourne with ample stops en-route. We aim to arrive at the hotel mid-afternoon for refreshments; the festivities continue tonight as it’s “Christmas Eve”!
Tuesday: This morning we board our coach for a scenic tour along the coast including Beachy Head where the dramatic 530 feet high cliffs give stunning views over Eastbourne and the English Channel. We journey through part of the South Downs, before returning to continue our Christmas Day activities which start at the hotel later this afternoon.
Wednesday: Today’s visit is to the attractive town of Battle, home of the famous 1066 battle and situated in the High Weald, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We return to the hotel in time to relax before our Boxing Day Dinner.
Thursday: Today is your free day to explore Eastbourne and take part in the New Year festivities at the hotel. Dancing is encouraged!
Friday: We bid a fond farewell to the hotel staff and make our way back to East Anglia, arriving home early evening.
